Latest dispatch from the Sweat Equity crew’s resident machinist Andrew Nerviano AKA Plebeian; a diverse set of amphibious hardware recordings that deftly mirrors the epochal nature of dreams, echoing aspects of Mark Pritchard and Tom Middleton at their most hypnagogic and sublime. Stitching together shades of waterlogged brutalism (“Omega”), high-tech surrealism (“Blind”, “Trace Essence”) and aqueous, relaxed techno (“Solvent”, “Atrium”), Nerviano forges a highly cinematic narrative threaded with squid ink and a teaspoon of daytime TV schlock. This session culls various live takes from a 12 month period culminating in a short & sweet Euro tour.
